Next Gen Now Summit

Trista Harris is the founder of FutureGood, and a leader in philanthropy.

What inspired you to focus on generational engagement and inclusive leadership?

I’ve always been driven to build a better future, and that means making space for every generation to lead. Too often, decisions happen without those most affected. I want to change that by ensuring all people are part of shaping what’s next.

What is one misconception about generational dynamics that you'd like to debunk?

That younger generations are entitled. In truth, they’re asking for purpose, balance, and change, the same things many of us wanted but didn’t ask for. It’s time we listen and learn.

What excites you most about participating in the Next Gen Now Summit?

This summit isn’t just talk, it’s action. I’m excited to be with folks who want to bridge generations and build something better together.

What key takeaway do you hope attendees gain from your presentation?

That the future is ours to shape. I want people to leave knowing they have the tools and responsibility to create workplaces where everyone belongs.

In your view, what is the most pressing challenge organizations face in engaging younger generations today?

Most organizations still run on hierarchy. Younger leaders want transparency, purpose, and voice. Without those, you’ll lose their energy and ideas.
