What inspired you to focus on generational engagement and inclusive leadership?

I’ve always learned so much from colleagues of all ages—and even from my son—that it became clear to me everyone has something valuable to contribute. I also saw how powerful it is when many voices come together to solve a problem. Fun Fact – my son and his friends asked me to help them set up a non-profit when they were 15 years old to help kids with cancer – I saw how you can lead at any age from anywhere.

Can you share a pivotal moment in your career that shaped your approach to building inclusive cultures?

Implementing a new platform I saw how different perspectives were needed to successfully communicate with all audiences – the quiet voice was the most insightful.

How does your upcoming session align with the summit's mission to foster belonging across generations?

Leading with Vision will showcase the importance of embracing creating experiences and truly making a lasting connection with everyone you encounter – changing lives one person at a time.

What key takeaway do you hope attendees gain from your presentation?

The importance of paying it forward—truly connecting with all generations, recognizing their unique strengths, and helping us all discover the gifts we each have and bring.

What emerging trends do you believe will significantly impact intergenerational collaboration in the next five years?

AI and technology integration, collaboration will need to occur to blend both the younger generation’s fluency and innovation and more experienced professionals' contribution of ethics, context and judgement. Also, leadership will become less about hierarchy and more about influence and shared problem solving.
