Webinar Overview: Organizations are losing billions in employee turnover. Global research indicates the top concern among executives is their inability to recruit and retain talent. What's this have to do with membership? In this presentation, based on her latest ASAE-published book, Talent Generation, Sarah Sladek shares the results of her study of the most future-facing organizations in existence today, and serves up a call to action on the important role associations must play in solving the global workforce crisis.
Concerned about declining engagement in our nation’s membership associations, non-profits, and workplaces, Sarah Sladek founded XYZ University, a trend-setting, generations-focused training and engagement strategy company, in 2002.
She is the author of several research papers on the generational topic and four books including The End of Membership As We Know It (Association Management Press, 2011) and Knowing Y (Association Management Press, 2014).
In addition to being an author, Sarah is the founder of the RockStars@Work Conference, the nation’s first business conference focused on bridging talent and leadership gaps in the workforce, and co-founder and producer of Millennials to Members, the first online course designed to help associations develop a future-focused membership strategy.
Sarah’s expertise has been prominently featured in international media including Forbes, Fast Company, and National Public Radio, and she has keynoted events worldwide. Backed by years of experience and supported by solid research, she remains committed to helping organizations engage every generation to thrive and prosper in the new economy.
